Bonjour! My love for metal toys started one Christmas night: There was a present under the tree, a single marvellous gift, one of the special moments in my childhood. It was never to be forgotten that splendid blue pedal car. Since then I've always loved mechanical toys and today my passion is my business. At the age of 14 I started trading, selling in fashion accessories in and around Montpellier on the coast of south-west France. Then in 1999 I went back to my birthplace Roanne in the Loire and opened a shop called A Green Mouse to realise my dream, selling the toys and games of yesteryear.

after a few years I wanted to come back to the Montpellier area with my
sons to live in the village of Poussan in the Herault. You can usually
find me selling toys in the local markets, on Friday mornings at Sète,
a seaside town famous for its fish and its associations with the singer
George Brassens and Jean Vilar. All day Saturday I'm normally at Pézenas,
a town known as the Little Versailles, the playwright Molière's
town where you can taste Lord Clive's pâtés.
My customers fall in love at first sight with these replica tinplate clockwork
